  • Pastor's Bible Study

    Reverend Greg Porterfield returns to lead a 5-week study on understanding the Bible and how it was meant to be read. Greg will explore the type of stories the scriptures tell and how they relate to our everyday based on the book Inspired by Rachel Held Evans. Books available for $10 at WOW.   • boundaries

    Join Rev. Scott Harris in a 5-week study of the Henry Cloud book Boundaries. Learn when to say yes and how to say no in order to take control of your life and set healthy, biblical boundaries with your spouse, children, friends, parents, co-workers and even yourself.   • Healthy Habits 2020

    Are you looking to start this new decade off in a new way? Join Wesley’s own panel of experts to reorient your life with new healthy habits. This is a seminar style class and no book is needed. Topics include Relationships, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Nutrition and Our Environment. Begins Wednesday, January 22, 6:00-7:00pm, room 21.

  • Wednesday Moms Group

    Moms of all ages are welcome for support, encouragement and comradery as we navigate our way to being the moms God intends us to be. We will explore Velvet Elvis, a book of personal spiritual growth with a fresh take on Jesus and what it means to live in His teachings. Led by Joanne Cirincione. Books available at first session. Begins Wednesday, January 22, 6-7pm, room 23.

  • Thursday Mom's Group

    Parenting advice comes from so many sources - how do you know what to heed and what to ignore? Enjoy real conversation and support as we discuss  The Christian Parenting Handbook to see what God wants our homes to feel like and how we can intentionally influence our children’s hearts. Books available at first class. Childcare by reservation. Thursdays, January 16, 9:15-10:15am, room 23. 

  • A Woman's Heart

    When hard times come and it seems God is deviating from the plan we assume our life should follow, we’re more likely to want to tame God, not trust Him. It’s then that we press into our own ways and timing.  In this 6-session video/workbook study of 1 & 2 Kings, author Lysa TerKeurst honestly reveals the places of distrust in her own heart while exploring scriptures that will teach us how to truly trust God. Books available at first session for $15. Led by Barbara Buffkin. Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30am, room 25. 


  • WE believe

    Throughout history the Church has found it necessary to teach biblical truth generally in a question and answer format accompanied by biblical explanation. We will examine 118 historic questions of our faith and search the scriptures for answers to inform us of who God is, who we are, and the nature of our relationship to Him. Led by Heather Peacock. Childcare available upon request. Begins Sunday, January 26, 6:30-7:30pm, in the Adult Choir Room.


  • grief support group

    Open to all who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Unfortunately, it happens to all of us before too long. This group's purpose is to be a support to the person who finds themselves grieving and to help them find their way when all seems lost. Join any time. Children's activities available. Led by Mark and Dawn Titter. Begins Wednesday, January 22, 6:00-7:00pm, prayer room.

  • knit one, crochet two

    This casual group of crafters meets to work on projects together. Participate in mission projects like prayer shawls or work on your own project with friends. Individual instruction is available for those who are just learning or would like to improve needlework skills. Led by Penny Hodges and Kathy Buckner.

  • HOPE CIRCLE

    Women of all ages interested in connecting with their Wesley community are welcome for fellowship, study of a faith-based book and missions. Mission opportunities include the Wesley Cares Meal Ministry and other seasonal missions. Second Thursdays, 7:00pm, room 21.

  • Men in Mission Bible Study & breakfast

    Join this group of Wesley men at Brandon Wilde in Evans as they enjoy breakfast, a short faith based book study and then those who are available go off to do mission work in the community. Ongoing on Tuesdays, 7:00am.
